I could write all day of the excellent insights written by Col. Hunt, in this book. Just know it is time for you to buy it, read it, and pass it on. Col. Hunt, is an inspiration with his hard hitting book. True military, true American, true man of honor.

A breath of fresh air from one who knows. Read this book, you won't put it down.

Good reading but,,,,,

I enjoyed this book but i beg to differ that there is anything you can really do. Our government, both State and Federal are so corrupt and getting worse by the day are separating the haves from the have nots more and more. People have got to realize that your government doesn't care about the average american person. Our government is all about greed and what is in it for them. Voting people out of office doesn't happen because people are extremely blind. I'm a true believe that we are living in the last days. The Bible makes this very clear. I rather prepare myself and make peace with my maker than get involved in any thing that the government wants. I know longer vote because i don't want to be part of an organization that is out for themselves and with the greed and hatered that we have for one another, i want no part of this world. Other than that, it is good reading but remember there is NOTHING you can do about it. We are on a course that will lead to distruction.

A Needed Wakeup Call

Col. Hunt is the best of the former military talking heads on Fox News and his analysis during coverage of the war was usually proven to be right on the money. He clearly knows what he's talking about and this book is written in his straightfoward , no BS style.
He rips the beauracracy and politics that get in the way of making direct and timely decisions in the field and spares no one. This is not a political book as much as it is a clear indictment of how other considerations get in the way of doing what needs to be done in War against the Terrorists.
Col. Hunt includes very specific examples of where things are screwed up and very specific suggestions on how to fix it.
For those who have forgotten the feeling we had in the weeks and months following 9/11, this book is a wake up call to remind us all that the bad guys are still out there and we are not finished with them yet.
