Reviews From Our Customers

A good cookbook.

I wonder why they have called this book a "diet" when it is actually a cookbook with elements/tips on eating less calories and practicing fitness. Some of the recipes look good but I have 3 excellent cookbooks and I do not need another one. It is quite disappointing to realize how misleading is the title and description. No wonder why there is no "promise" for any weight loss. After all with more diverse cooking and eating fewer calories who has achieved significant weight loss and succeeded to keep it off. I do not recommend this book unless as a cookbook.

70% a cookbook!

This book just like the rest is written by "someone" at the Heart Association and goes on the market backed by its "reputation". If you take a look at "their" other books 90% of they are cookbooks. It seems that there is somebody who really likes cooking and knows A LOT of recipes. This is what 70% of this book is all about. Otherwise it is the same old story- negative calories intake. They still believe that by eating less calories than you need you will lose weight. Well, I wish it was like this BUT as every obese person knows this does NOT work at least for millions of people. If you want to learn some new recipes then it is better to consider on of their cookbooks. The small part providing "tips" we all perfectly know is not something worth attention.

Great Weight Loss Plan

This is a very good weight loss/fitness plan. Beware - there aren't any promises of dropping 10Lbs in the next week. Rather, this a a guide for an overall healthier life style. It has a great, easy to follow system for creating your own diets and exercise program based on your habits and personal experiences. It has over 200 recipes for soups, salad, cassaroles and everything else under the sun to help you eat right. While dieting is neither truly fun or easy, this plan will help keep you on the right track.
