Rita, you are just great!!!
I started my PMP exam preparation using material on my company's intranet and PMBOK. Due to some other higher priority conmmitments, I didn't get a chance to prepare further and I had to keep rescheduling my exam. I rescheduled in April for May, In May for June and was going to do the same on Friday, June 3rd as I was not well and then I realized I had already missed the cancellation deadline as exam was scheduled for 4th June itself. I had this book bought from Amazon but never looked at. I decided to give it a try and studied the full book from 10:00AM to 11:30PM and tried all exercises. I was a little nervous before the exam but while answering my questions, I was surprised to find myself at ease and was very much comfortable. I passed with good marks and I thank Rita for writing such a wonderful book. I highly recommend it to any other person appearing to the exam though you must go thru PMBOK at least once.
IS Project Manager
Making the move from IS admin to IS PM hasn't been easy. I have three books on my desk, two of Stanek's pocket consultants (because they keep pulling me back to admin) and this one (because I want to do more management than hands on). I think this is the best PMP Exam book. This is the only book I used to study for and pass the exam. Highly recommended as a study tool.
A word of caution don't use this book if you are trying to learn Project Management. This book isn't for that. Try Effective Project Management or Project Management Managerial Approach.
This is a good book.
I used this book + PMP Exam: How to pass on first try, plus PMBOK to pass on my 1st try.
This one is good but I think the other one is slightly better.
