Reviews From Our Customers

Exactly What First-Time Moms Need to Read!!!

As one in the beginning stages of trying to get pregnant and wanting to be prepared when it finally happens, this was one of the most helpful and encouraging ones out there! I have been anxious about this new endeavor and all of the changes and "things to know", but this book was very realistic and forthcoming about things to worry about, things not to worry about, and things the jury is simply still out on. It is extremely well organized and does not make any assumptions about you or the decisions you are making about your pregnancy. It was not written in a tone of fear or "should dos" like some of the other famous books. I strongly urge you to read this book, you will not be disappointed!

Informative and well written

There is tons of information in this book! I really like her style of writing, it's easy to read and lighthearted. The preconception section is not as informative as I would have liked, but overall this is a good book to have.

Best Pregnancy book

I found this book to be the most helpful and well organized pregnancy book out there. If I had something I wanted to look up, it was easy to find. It was very easy to research a particular topic. This book covered everything I needed to know without scaring the heck out of me. While it doesn't have illustrations and graphics, it has some great charts and diagrams. Nutrition, vitamins, exercise, emotions--it was all covered here. I refer to this book frequently and found it's low-key yet friendly tone the best for the emotional ups and downs during pregnancy.
