The Real Sin City
I bought this book reading most of the reviews on Amazon. I have to say this book blew me away. I did notice that the grammer was a little off and I was able to read past it. The main formate was simply amazing and the story was just very unexpected. The story follows a precinct for twenty four hours in "Real Time". I was shocked and speechless after a few big turns this novel took. I think this is a great first book for this author. I hope that the next novel "A Whiter Shade of Pale" is picked up by a better publishing house. After reading this book I went on the author's website. He eplains that his editor ripped him off for a large amount of money. Whatever the case was the spelling errors that did come up was not enough to throw me off the book. I really enjoyed it and I would be more then happy to read more work by the author when it comes out. This book mixed Sin City and NYPD Blue all in one novel. In the novel Detective Clark knows the only person he can trust is himself. The city is filled with dirty cops and evil goverment officals. It is really the perfect blend of action and terror.
Action packed thrill ride.
This was a good thriller that kept me guessing and left me hanging. All in all I enjoyed this novel very much and would read more from this author.
This ain't no fairy tale....
Not by any means of the word. In fact this is a story filled with pure horror and terror. There is nothing cute or fuzzy about this novel. It starts out as a nice NYPD novel but takes a turn for the worse at around midnight. The spelling did throw me off but was easily brushed off and I was able to get lost in the story. I did not put this book down once I got sucked in I stayed in. I would tell anyone to check this out it was well worth the time and money. I could tell the author had a passion for this world he had created and had the ability to make me really care for everyone in the course of their day.
