Book Review #2

Nicholas. The Wedding. New York: Warner Book, 2003
(pages 263)

The book The Wedding is a good book. If you like love and romance then this is the book for you. It is about a husband trying to win back his wife. After the past few years he has not been there either at work or busy doing other things. But now he wants that all to change. So he plans a surprise wedding for her. When the day comes she says, "My Wedding" her voice was soft, almost breathless" (pg. 254). This was the wedding she always dreamed of having but never got. I would recommend this book to a young teen girl and an adult because this is a good book to read when there is nothing to do in the house or on a rainy day. That is what I liked about the book.

LOVED it!!!!

This book was amazing. It brought tears to my eyes after I read what Wilson Lewis did for his wife, Jane. Since their marriage was failing, Wilson decided to try to save it by reliving his past. After a year of planning, Wilson must pull off the biggest and grandest surprise of all for Jane. While this is happening, their daughter Anna announces that she is getting married on their anniversary. As the wedding day and the thirty year anniversary arrives, Wilson pulls off a twist that surprises everyone, including myself. This book made me realize that true love can never be lost, just misplaced.

love renewed

When I finished The Notebook I knew I had to read The Wedding. This was a wonderful story about a couple who have drifted apart over the years and once their children had grown found out they really didn't know each other. Of course, my favorite character Noah is in this book and he is an influence on the husband and guides him to remember what it was he fell in love with his wife. This is an easy read but a wonderful story of reconnecting with your love.
