Hot, Hot, Hot!
I love Brockmann's navy seal series and this one is just as hot and intense as all of the others! The characters are strong and yet you get a glimpse of the vulnerability that adds just the right amount of senusality to the mix. The story continues where the last book left off and includes all of the previous characters that have generated such a great following. Keep up the great writing, so we can keep up the great reading!
A Beautiful Story!
This is a super addition to Suzanne Brockmann's Tall, Dark, and Dangerous series and here's hoping it won't be the last! I'd miss this series too much!
What a beautiful story! Navy Seal Wesley Skelly has got to be my favorite and I loved all heroes of TDD! It's been a long time time since a story has made me cry, but this one did! I just finished and then started reading it again.
Brittany Evans is the best heroine I've come across in stories! She and Wes are pefect together!
Quick plot- Wes and Brit are set up on a date by her sister and his fellow Alpha Squad teammate(husband and wife)Melody and Cowboy Jones(TDD story- Everyday, Average Jones). Neither expects much to come of it, and are they both in for a shock when they discover how much of a match they really are! They are both falling hard for each other and don't say it but can't stop feeling all of the effects! Wow! Brit gets Wes to finally open up about the tragedy in his family's past and I swear Ms. Brockkmann's got a gift! I cried as I read it. Wow!
And I love how this couple fell in love. It was really sweet and very romantic! Great love scenes!
Ladies, Wes will just steal your heart and you'll cheer for this couple. I know I did!
I LOVED this one!! I could read it tons of times! It just made me go back and get out the other books of TDD and read them again, too!I can't wait for the next book in the series! Bravo, Ms. Brockmann!
More Tall Dark and Dangerous!
...Okay, maybe Wes Skelly isn't quite as Tall as his SEAL counterparts in the earlier books...but he's just as wonderful. Yes, he has a semi-tortured past, but it helps us realize why he was such a jacka** in the earlier books. And yes of course we love him in the end! Ms. Brockmann takes us through Wes's maturing process in "Night Watch" and helps us understand more about our hero. The heroine is wonderful (of course) and the story is more than "fluff." As usual, Ms. Brockmann is not afraid to attack emotional issues, and she does it with style!
This is a fabulous continuation of SEAL Team Ten! And I certainly hope Ms. Brockmann continues to write more stories for this category.
I did have one complaint for Silhouette (not for the book - but for the title). What were they thinking? "Night Watch?" Suz's title was much better! "Wild, Wild Wes!" I know the publisher has an eye on the current market, but come on! ALL the books in the series have our hero's name in the title...until now. And I know publishers are famous for changing perfectly good names, but this is a SERIES! They should have left the name alone!
That said, buy the book! Add it to your collection of TDD (if you can find all 11)...and you'll read them again, and again and again!
Thanks Suzanne Brockmann, for another charmer with heart! LOVED IT!
