Twent;y stars!!!
I have read many historical romances, hundreds and hundreds, but I have never been so into a story as I was this one. Alec Knight is so irresistible, and Becky is such a sweetie. From the beginning they don't fight, they understand each other. The passion is first rate as always with a Foley book, and this was the hottest that I've read by her. Alec and Becky are with each other almost the entire book, and you can see how they came to fall hopelessly in love with each other. The whole book is full of romance, showing how close these two become. I couldn't quit grinning throughout most of the book, it was that romantic. I have read all of Foley's works, and Alec was a small character in the previous Knight books. I didn't see how she could get his character to work, but she did. You do not want to miss out on this one, historical romance has never been better. Never have I been so in love with two characters. This was even better than Prince Charming, part of her Ascension series. I can't wait until Jack's story comes out. It's sure to be twice as good as Alec's. Please, don't miss this book, it's one to read over and over again.
Keeper Shelf Forever
I've been reading Gaelen Foley's books from the beginning and I think she is just getting better and better. This latest is so moving and probably the most romantic and steamy yet, but that isn't the only reason to buy the book. The words are a work of art the way she puts them on a page. Buy all her books, you will not be disappointed.
The best yet!
Ms. Foley has done it again. Her new book outdoes the rest in the Knight Series, as they keep getting better and better.
In "One Night of Sin," readers will be swept away to a fantasy world where love, lust, pride, conviction, beauty, danger, corruption, murder, adventure, and conspiracy abound. The brave and beautiful heroine, Becky, is just the kind of spitfire who can take care of herself that we love to see overcoming obstacles. Alec, the hero, delivers the sexy, playful, man-in-control who saves the day that every woman fantasizes about. But on top of all the adventure, the plot-twists, the humor, the delightful dialogue, and the steamy love-making, these characters show the complexity and truth of the human condition; vulnerability, fear, shame, determination, and the will to survive against all the odds.
"One Night of Sin" is the best piece of fiction I've read in a long time. I couldn't put it down, but couldn't bear it being all over when I reached the last page.
Thank you -- yet again -- Ms. Foley.
