Excellent book! Must read for consultants/small business

This book is faithful to its title. It really gives you wonderful information on what to deduct and how to substantiate your deduction. It does not teach you how to file your return, but it teaches you how to structure your life and prepare your documentation during the year with an eye to the filling day and another to the audit day.
Please note, however, that this book is also faithful to its subtitle: it is only useful if you are able to start a small business, like consulting.
I am very satisfied and highly recommend this book to anyone interested in lowering his or her tax burden.

Very informative.

This book is easier to criticize than to laud. But that has more to do with the tax code itself than with the content of the book - which is exceptionally good. It contains very useful strategies for lowering taxes, some of which could translate into savings of hundreds or even thousands of dollars. As such, the book is an excellent investment.
