Reviews From Our Customers

Gives a great perspective

This book takes a realistic look at infertility from the perspective of women (and men) going through it. There are lots of good tips, questions to ask, things you never think about until you are in the middle of fertility treatment. At least, I didn't....There are lots of great medical-technical books out there, but for my money, this one really speaks to the issue of what couples really do go through. It rounds out the selection, so to speak.

It is interesting to me that this book is getting either rave reviews or one star...and those who don't like it spend their review time touting other author's books instead of saying why they don't like this one. Hhmmm. All I can say is read this book for yourself and make the determination. I wasn't sorry.

Loved the book.

I found this book to be well researched, full of great information and yes, laugh-out-loud-funny in spots. I laughed AND I cried. But I am one of those that find laughter healing. Does that mean the authors were offensive or treated the subject lightly? No. I loved the book--and have already given to several other friends who have been very grateful to find a book like this on the market . I thank the authors for writing a frank account of their infertility, and sharing with us so that we can benefit from their (funny and not-so-funny-at-all) experiences. What a help and resource this book is!

disappointing is right!

i was so hoping this book would enlighten me and maybe make me laugh. it did neither; i was angry and depressed when i finished it. my wife and i spent years trying to conceive and even though we have the family we always dreamed of, we are facing the issues again trying to have another baby. i have been doing a lot of reading to learn about the new technologies and treatments available to us and this book was useless and somewhat offensive. if you want a book that really helps look to authors like geoffrey sher, md, elizabeth swire-falker and lisa charlesworth. they published books that are worth spending precious dollars on . . . this one is not.
